Since I live in the desert, I had to wait until we had some of our typical winter rainstorms to give the coat a proper try-out. I love this coat, I can't wait to have a chance to wear it again. It's lightweight and not too warm, though in colder weather, you will need a sweater underneath. My only con with this coat is the fit of the sleeves in the upper arms. It is a bit tight, however, I have always had trouble with coats fitting in my upper arms since childhood (before I needed plus). I'm tall with wide shoulders and long arms. Even so, it's still completely wearable for me, even with a sweater on underneath. I'd certainly buy this coat again and I'd be even more prone to buying it if it had 1-2' more material in the upper arms.
I was so looking forward to this trench coat, it looked stylish and with all the rain we have been having in So Cal I thought it would be perfect...Except the sleeves were made for stick arms! It fit perfectly everywhere except the sleeves. You would think that the makers of plus size clothing would compensate for plus size arms too! Unfortunately I find this true with too many things.
Over all I like this raincoat, however, they need to give it some extra room across the shoulders/sleeves. If it’s worn over a single layer it’s fine, but it’s tight otherwise.

cheaply made! horrible fit. way too expensive. u should be ashamed to charge such high prices and make customer feel like they got a deal
you will need to order two sizes up.
Unfortunately, this trench had to go back. The sizing seemedto be off. The arms were very tight. And it did not seem to fit true to size. I would suggest sizing up one or two sizes if you plan on getting this coat.
As soon as I saw this coat in the catalog, I ordered it in pink. Well, I was happy with the looks of it when I took it out of the bag and the material was nice and soft... then I tried it on. The proportions are SO weird! The top fit perfect but from the waist down it looks like I have a sheet wrapped around me.The bottom should be tapered more. However, if you are shaped like a triangle, you might like this coat. Unfortunately for me, back it goes!
I'm a sz 26w I used to be 32w I bought a 30/32 for a roomy feel sleeves are too tight and it barely closed around me very disappointed. Do better Roamans I've been a customer for 3 decades and I know their coats tend to run small but this is the worst I've seen.
